Let be enchanted by a very special Christmas market. In the “Münzgasse”, located directly between the world-famous “Dresden Frauenkirche” and the “Brühlsche Terrasse”, the dealer expect you with delicious specialities and traditional craftsmanship.
Already for the twelfth time also hand-blown glass and hand-made candles are offered in addition to authentic “Plauner” peak, “Erzgebirgischer” folk art, “Freiberger” tin and pottery, wooden toys and hand puppets.
“Kräppelchen”, crepes and hot waffles, sugar roasted almonds, Marzipan, nougat and backed apples give up a sweet smell over the market.
Try the original “Dresdner Christstollen” to mulled wine and “Feuerzangenbowle”.
The romantically decorated market stalls and the Christmas sounds spread a unique Christmas mood.

To bridge the waiting time for the smallest up to Christmas, Santa Claus comes every day at 4pm and has a surprise for every child.

But also the adults will be amazed when they stand in front of the eight-metre-high wooden pyramid. You can climb this attraction with its hand-crafted and life-size figures with a delicious mulled wine to enjoy the unique view of the decorated booths and the Neumarkt with the world-famous Frauenkirche.

And if you did get cold feet during the strolling under lights and "Herrnhuter Sternen", our restaurants will welcome you any time. The “Grand Café Coselpalais” awaits you with beautiful decorated salons and exquisite cuisine. In the restaurant “Ayers Rock” you can experience the Christmas period in Australian flair.
